Tomasz Pelszynski
Building the future of asset management software for Canadian organizations.
About Tomasz
Tomasz founded AssetLab after witnessing firsthand how organizations struggle with disconnected systems—maintenance in one platform, capital planning in another, with stakeholders asking questions that require hours of manual data wrangling to answer.
Working alongside leading Asset Managers and Strategists managing portfolios worth over $500 million in infrastructure, Tomasz developed deep empathy for the challenges they face: building defensible budget justifications, creating 10-year capital plans, and answering stakeholder questions that seem simple but require pulling data from multiple systems.
This experience revealed a critical gap in the market. While enterprise solutions existed, they were often prohibitively expensive, overly complex, and required extensive customization. Small and medium organizations were left cobbling together spreadsheets, basic CMMS tools, and manual processes.
“Great software shouldn't require a PhD to use,” Tomasz believes. AssetLab combines enterprise-grade capabilities with an interface that feels natural, making powerful analytics and forecasting accessible to everyone from technicians to executives.

The AssetLab Vision
“Every organization deserves access to the same powerful asset management tools that Fortune 500 companies use—without the Fortune 500 budget or implementation timeline.”
AssetLab was built on the belief that Canadian organizations shouldn't have to choose between powerful features and usability, between comprehensive data and accessibility, or between enterprise capabilities and reasonable pricing. The platform unifies CMMS, capital planning, and asset lifecycle management into a single, intuitive solution designed specifically for the Canadian market.
