What is AssetLab?

Limble, MaintainX, and UpKeep are simpler CMMS tools focused on mobile work-order UX. They do not include capital planning, FCI, or long-horizon lifecycle forecasting and are US-based with USD pricing. Fiix was founded in Toronto but was acquired by Rockwell Automation (US) in 2020. AssetLab is Canadian-owned, stores data in Canada, prices in CAD, and combines CMMS with capital planning in one system.
Is AssetLab PIPEDA compliant and Canadian-hosted?
AssetLab is Canadian-owned, headquartered in Vancouver, BC, aligned with PIPEDA, and stores all customer operational data (assets, work orders, costs, documents) in Canadian regions. Authentication and user-identity is handled by Clerk, a US-based SSO provider, so sign-in data is subject to US jurisdiction. For organizations with strict public-sector or regulated-industry sovereignty requirements, we are happy to walk through what is stored where.
Does AssetLab include capital planning and FCI forecasting?
Yes, and they are included in every plan - not sold as a separate module. AssetLab forecasts the full asset lifecycle out to the last retiring asset, not a capped 5 or 10 year window. You get APPA-aligned FCI calculations at portfolio, site, building, and system-class levels, asset-replacement plan modelling, and deferred-maintenance backlog tracking.
How much does AssetLab cost?
