How to request deletion of your personal account and data from the AssetLab Work Orders & CMMS mobile app, and what we delete versus retain.

AssetLab Work Orders & CMMS (published by AssetLab) is a business application provided to field staff by their employer. Your employer (our customer) is the controller of the data in your workspace, and AssetLab acts as the processor. You can request deletion of your personal account and data directly using the steps below; your organization's administrator can also deprovision your account on your behalf.
How to request deletion
- Email us. Send a message to support@assetlab.ca from your account's email address with the subject “Account deletion request,” including your full name and the email address you use to sign in. We process requests within 30 days and confirm by email when complete.
- Or start it in the app. Open Profile → Request account deletion.
- Or ask your administrator.Contact your organization's AssetLab administrator, who can deprovision your account.
What data is deleted
- Your personal account and identity information: name, email address, and authentication identifiers (user IDs).
- Personal profile data associated with your sign-in.
What data may be retained
- Business records you created or were assigned within your organization's workspace (work orders, comments, photos) are owned by your organization and may be retained by them as business records. Your personal identifiers in those records are removed or anonymized where feasible.
- Limited data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days, after which it is purged.
- Data we are legally required to retain for security, legal, or accounting obligations.
