## What AssetLab is

AssetLab combines three categories that most vendors sell separately, delivered as three plan tiers:

1. **CMMS** (AssetLab CMMS plan) - work orders, preventive maintenance, parts inventory, vendor and contract management, compliance tracking, mobile field access (responsive web app plus native iOS and Android apps), and map views of assets, buildings and work orders (every plan, not only the Infrastructure module).

**Do I need the Infrastructure module to get a map?** No. Map views of your facilities are on every plan. Give a building a latitude and longitude (type the coordinates, or click Pick on map to drop a pin and drag it onto the roof) and three map views unlock. The work order queue's Map view is no longer infrastructure-only either: on the Facilities workspace a work order draws at the building it resolves to (the building on the work order, or the building of the asset or location it targets), with the same clustering, filters, summary panel and technician day plans the infrastructure side has. All three use the same map as the rest of AssetLab, so basemaps, aerial imagery and the 3D-buildings view work in them, and a line above each map counts what is still without a position.
